Alicen Blanchard joined Overby, Inc. in 2014 after more than a decade in design, project management, and strategic planning, including serving as Director of Exhibits and Education at the Mississippi Children’s Museum. This background equipped her with a disciplined approach to complex projects, sharp analytical skills, and a deep understanding of how space, function, and investment intersect.
Since earning her real estate license, Alicen has closed more than $40 million in residential sales and completed multiple commercial transactions across office, retail, and mixed-use sectors. Her client-focused process emphasizes clarity, precision, and accountability—qualities that have earned her long-term relationships and a strong base of repeat and referral business.
Building on her residential success, Alicen is expanding her commercial practice and is a candidate pursuing the CCIM designation in 2026, reflecting her commitment to advanced market analysis and investment strategy. She currently represents several commercial listings and continues to grow her presence in Central Mississippi’s office and retail markets, bringing the same rigor and responsiveness that define her residential practice.
In addition to her brokerage work, Alicen owns and manages Blanchard Group LLC, a portfolio of nineteen single- and multi-family properties in Jackson, Mississippi. Her ownership experience provides practical insight into asset performance, maintenance planning, and long-term value creation—perspectives that enhance her service to clients across all property types.
A Jackson-area resident since 1992, Alicen is deeply engaged in community leadership and philanthropy. She currently serves as Chairperson of the Board of Directors for the Mississippi Children’s Museum.
